The BET Awards 2021 was more than just culture’s biggest night for DJ Cassidy. It was also the Pass the Mic creator’s birthday. After Pass the Mic: BET Awards Edition aired  following the awards (June 27),  Cassidy and crew met up at the Beverly Hills Polo Loiunge for  a private after after-party. Celebrating  both the show's premiere and his born day, the 40-year-old hosted his family and some celebrity friends at a 70-person dinner.

Guests including Jimmy Jam, Bobby Brown, comedian JB Smoove, actor Evan Ross,  Cassidy’s girlfriend Kelsey Evenson, and others, sipped on Deleon tequila cocktails before joining in on impromptu Pass the Mic moments. Old-school R&B, funk, and soul were on the menu. See below for highlights.
