Kevin Hart Wins Big at the People's Choice Awards
Actor and comedian, Kevin Hart won big at last night’s People’s Choice Awards, bringing home the awards for Favorite Comedic Movie Actor and Favorite Cable TV Actor, for his work on BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood. This caps off the end to yet another very successful year for the star, in which had two box office hits (The Wedding Ringer and Get Hard) as well as a massively successful comedy tour.
Hart won the Favorite Comedic Movie Actor award over nominees Jack Black, Mark Wahlberg, Robert De Niro, and Will Ferrell, to cement his name as the top comedic actor in Hollywood.
2016 will be an even bigger — and busier! — year for the Hart, as he is slated to star in four movies and two TV shows. In fact, Hart had to miss the awards show altogether because he was attending the world premiere of his highly anticipated comedy sequel, Ride Along 2.
While the actor was not there in body, he was most definitely there in spirit and he took to Twitter to thank the fans who voted for him. “Wow…Major thank you to my fans who voted for me at the People’s Choice Awards,” he wrote. "I was just informed that I won 2 awards tonight…I’m blown away by this...And again major thank you to all of the fans that voted and made this moment possible!!! I love you guys…”
We love you too, Kev.
