Metro Boomin Responds To Drake With “BBL Drizzy” Track
Metro Boomin is here for all the smoke.
The acclaimed producer responded to Drake with a beat that he crafted titled “BBL Drizzy.” If that wasn't enough the St. Louis native beat maker challenged his followers to rap over the track and the winner would receive a free beat.
The term “BBL Drizzy,” was coined by Rick Ross after he unleashed his own diss record “Champagne Moments” aimed at Drake. Now Metro is using the term for his own purposes.
So far, thousands of people across the globe have jumped on the beat giveaway on social media and on the SoundCloud platform.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Metro stated his case as to why he’s coming after Drake on Sunday (May 5).
“The drum thing was laughable so I let it slide but what we not gon do is spread lies and have my loved ones involved nobody ever hit my girl n—a we grew up together she’s a real woman and not even in the industry but I guess #youwouldntknownunboutdatttt,” Metro’s post read.
The 6 God has made known his disdain of the Heroes and Villains producer in his lyrics.
On “Family Matters” Drake alleges that Metro’s girlfriend stepped out on him with one of his friends.
Released in late March this year, Metro produced “Like That” featuring Future where Kendrick Lamar launched missiles at Drake and J. Cole.
On X (formerly Twitter), Metro shared that Drake attempted to block “Like That” from being aired.
“I’m lame but the first week after #LikeThat you tried to block it at radio. I been sitting on this email for a month now but was just sparing you. oh u aint #LikeThat record???,” his post read.
