Tyga Won’t Face Felony Charges In Domestic Violence Case
Tyga will not reportedly face felony charges in his domestic violence case.
According to TMZ, authorities passed the rapper’s case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, who subsequently handed it over to the L.A. City Attorney’s Office, indicating he won’t face felony charges.
Last month, Tyga was arrested for felony domestic violence after he turned himself in to authorities. His ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson claimed he got physical with her.
In a police report, Swanson claimed Tyga hit her and later posted a video showing her alleged injuries. TMZ reports that the rapper’s team labeled her allegations as “false and will be disproven.”
Swanson and Tyga began dating in March, but it isn’t clear when they split.
While he won’t face felony charges, there is still a possibility Tyga will be charged with a misdemeanor. That decision will be up to the City Attorney.
