This weekend's news of Little League baseball sensation Mo'ne Davis' being chosen for a Disney Channel biopic called Throw Like Mo brought plenty of joy to most who heard it. Not everyone, though.

Upon learning of the news, Bloomsburg University sophomore first baseman Joey Casselberry tweeted, "Disney is making a movie about Mo'ne Davis? WHAT A JOKE. That s**t got rocked by Nevada."

That didn't sit well with Bloomsburg University, which swiftly removed Casselberry from its baseball program Saturday.

"Bloomsburg Univ is deeply saddened by what was written about #MoneDavis by one our student athletes," the University tweeted Saturday night. "His words do not represent us. We take matter very seriously; addressed the issue with the student-athlete (who has been dismissed from team), coach, and the team."

The 13-year-old Davis captured the hearts of the nation last summer, becoming the first girl to throw a shutout during the Little League World Series. She was also named the Associated Press' 2014 Female Athlete of the Year.
