Daz Dillinger Battles Makers of Grand Theft Auto V
Daz Dillinger wants Grand Theft Auto V pulled from store shelves if he doesn't get a better offer for two of his songs used in the game, "C-Walk" and "Nothin' But the Cavi."
According to TMZ, Daz and his lawyer sent a cease and desist letter to GTA V developers Take-Two Interactive Softwares and Rock Star Games over their "offensively low offer of $4,271.00." The ex-Dogg Pound member is giving the companies 14 days to counter, or destroy more than 15 million unsold copies.
The move is about "respecting an artist's work," Daz told TMZ. "Rock Star didn't do that here, and I can't let them get away with it," he added.
Released in September, GTA V is the most successful of the game's series making $800 million in a single day, the highest sales for any title in the companies' history.
They have yet to respond to Daz's request.
