Scandal 's Darby Stanchfield: Rihanna Would Make a Great Gladiator
The cast of Shonda Rhimes's Scandal recently hit the red carpet at PaleyFest in Los Angeles, where they shared some fun facts with BET.com. From who would be the best celebrity gladiator to being "fixed" by Olivia Pope themselves, the cast had fun with their responses.
"I have to say RiRi," said Darby Stanchfield, who plays Abby Whelan on the ABC series, when asked who the best celebrity gladiator would be. "She did this tour of the White House and she stood at the press secretary press room booth and she wrote something [on Instagram] like 'What's up, Abby?' I was like, 'She is a gladiator!'"
Aside from Rihanna, other cast members said that pop star P!nk and singer B. Beaman would make great choices.
When asked what Olivia Pope would fix in their real lives, the cast's answers varied, but the most unexpected came from Joshua Malina, who plays David Rosen on the show. "My water heater isn't working," he said. "I don't know if she does that kind of small scale project, but it's really bumming my family out."
