La La Anthony Says New York Is Tough
La La Anthony's parents may both be from New York but it doesn't mean she automatically has love for the Big Apple.
In a trailer for her new VH1 reality show seen on People, “La La’s Full Court,” the TV personality says she’s been having a hard time adjusting to her new life, that includes living in New York City. Before Carmelo Anthony, 27, her husband of one year got traded to the New York in February, La La says she would travel between Denver and L.A. for her career. All that changed when Melo joined the Knicks.
From living briefly in a hotel while they looked for a home to purchase to battling New York media and real estate, La La, 32, is seen telling 50 Cent, “Being married to an athlete is a hard thing. I don’t want to give up my dreams.” 50’s advice is simply to wait and watch what happens.
The way the trailer plays out, it looks like Mrs. Anthony will have to squash some basketball wives beef, learn how to fend off New York paparazzi and deal with a possible pregnancy.
