Andre Iguodala's custody war with his baby's mother is getting ugly, and now the Golden State Warriors player is being accused of not only being an absentee father, but a homophobe as well.
According to Clayanna Warthen, the former video vixen with whom Iguodala shares a 6-year-old daughter, the NBA player is terrified his baby girl will grow up to be a basketball player and, by extension, "turn into a lesbian."
Warthen made the outrageous claims during a child support hearing. She's seeking to triple the number on the child support checks Iguodala sends every month, from $18,000 to $58,000, on grounds that their daughter is a genius with special requirements to unleash her full potential. A payment like that will buy a lot of Harry Potter books (which, by the way, she's been reading since she was in diapers).
Of course, the inflammatory accusations could be part of Warthen's bid to smear her ex in court, but this wouldn't be the first time we've seen an NBA player talk that way about female basketball players.
