Mayweather and Pacquiao to Battle in Court Before Ring

Floyd Mayweather Jr. failed to show up in court Friday to fight defamation case against him.

What we want most is to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao duke out in the boxig ring.

But we will have to settle for them two going toe-to-toe in a court room for now. That is if Mayweather shows up to court. Testimony in Pacquiao’s defamation lawsuit against Mayweather was to begin Friday in a Las Vegas court room, but Mayweather failed to show, according to a report on cbssportsline.

Pacquiao is suing Mayweather over accusations that he used performance-enhancing drugs. This issue, of course, is what called off plans for the two to fight.

Now it appears it will even longer before the best pound-for-pound fighters in boxing will take even longer to meet in the ring where the tension will be real.

Mayweather, who is set to fight Victor Ortiz on Sept. 17, is also facing felony charges from an argument and misdemeanor harassment and battery charges from another case, according to the report.
