What if Gary From ‘Sistas’ Went on ‘Ms. Pat Settles It?’

Imagine a hypothetical situation where Gary’s victims sue him on ‘Ms. Pat Settles It.’

By now, we know that Chido Nwokocha, who plays Gary on Sistas, thinks Gary could have a redemption arc. Most of us probably think that’s ridiculous. Still, it’s not a long shot, especially given how Andi, Penelope, and Jordan were naive enough to think it was cute to forgive him after they learned of all his transgressions between Andi, Penelope, and a million other women. Let’s also not forget all the other times before Penelope-gate that Andi should have cut Gary off. However, do you know who could set Gary straight? Our girl, Ms. Pat.

'Tyler Perry's Sistas': Fatima Keeps Andi Grounded Amid Gary’s FBI Drama

It might sound silly to pit a real person against a fictional character, but Ms. Pat isn’t really a judge, so anything is possible. Consider three scenarios where Gary’s victims could sue him in Ms. Pat’s courtroom.

This is not sound legal analysis. Take everything you’re about to read lightly.

 Alienation of Affection

Laws can vary by state, but Gary’s ex-wife, the one who tried to kill Andi, could have had a good case against him had she not tried to kill him and Andi. Attempting to kill him is understandable, but still, if she had let Ms. Pat handle it then the ruling would have been in her favor, and the tongue-lashing Gary would have gotten would have also been so worth it.

Pain and Suffering and Child Support

If Penelope were smart, she’d call off the engagement, sue him for pain and suffering and child support, and hold her breath, hoping that money comes from a legitimate source.

Coercion

Hayden might have a good case against Gary for coercion. You heard Gary on the phone with Hayden in the last episode. He was trying to force Hayden to get in alignment with whatever lies he was going to tell, and Hayden was smart enough to decline. Ms. Pat would like a word with Mr. G.
