Twista was arrested back in March for marijuana possession, and today (April 13) has entered a not guilty plea.

As reported, his legal team is also looking into the possibility that the traffic stop that led to his arrest was due to profiling. 

Twista was in court earlier today to face the misdemeanor charge when his attorney, Lakeisha Murdaugh, said that the Rolls-Royce Phantom that he was in may have tipped off the cops that he was inside the vehicle, and that it is suspected that the traffic stop was not routine.

His attorney also wants to review all transmissions from the police last night to see what escalated into pulling him over.
