Mack 10 Ordered to Pay $230,000 Credit Debt
West Coast rapper Mack 10 just got a raw deal in a California court, all because he didn't show up to court to defend himself, reports TMZ.
According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, Mack, one-third of the popular '90s rap crew Wetside Connection, borrowed $35,000 from a lender on April 24, 2010, and was expected to pay back $70,000 four months later. Although the 100 percent interest on the loan violates the state of California's usury law, Mack 10 is being ordered by the court to pay up since he missed a court date regarding the issue.
To make matters worse Mack 10 also has second loan from the same lender in the amount of $65,000, for which he now owes $130,000. The total of the two loans, interest, lawyer and all other related fees totals $229,668.86. So now a $100,000 loan is costing Mack almost $130,000 to repay.
