Confession! We’ve been silently admiring the evolution of Kerry Washington’s style for years. Her effortless energy has made some of her most intricate outfits look so easy to pull off. We can go on and on about my favorite looks from Auntie Kerry, but honestly, nothing compares when she works with Dolce and Gabbana.
The actress has had a relationship with the brand for years, and let’s just say we love this relationship. We completely gasped when Kerry shared her Dolce looks on her social media while in Italy. “My Dolce era,” Kerry said while sharing the stunning looks. We immediately liked and wished an Amazon dupe existed—it doesn’t.

Golden In Gabbana
We wonder if Washington's arms are tired from serving all these looks. She wore this effortless yellow Dolce&Gabbana gown. See-through dresses are a thing this season, and this yellow lace with black undergarments peeking through was all we needed to see to consider grabbing a ticket to Italy. The large bow on Kerry’s hips was a hint of fun this look needed. It is the perfect balance of elegance and grunge in true Dolce style.
A Little Black Dress Moment
"This is IT," Issa Rae said in the comment section. Our good sis took the words out of our mouths because it absolutely is! This look is authentic Dolce&Gabbana at its core. All black lace with a dangerous 90's feel was vamped up with a bustier and the actresses' high bun and gold jewelry. This outfit pushed the boundaries of her "good girl aesthetic."
Understated Beauty
Kerry saved the best for last when she posted this look—a true showstopper. This lace with beige and nude tones dress is beautifully embroidered with crystal. Washington poses confidently with faux locs that flow gently against a diamond choker. This look is effortless and a breath of fresh air to the nude aesthetic.
