Kevin Hart Cuts DUI Deal, Terrence Howard Allegedly Beats Ex-Wife
Days after celebrating his fourth anniversary with girlfriend Eniko Parrish, funnyman Kevin Hart got some more good news. The Think Like a Man actor made a deal to avoid jail time for his DUI arrest last April. Hart pleaded no contest to the charges after he was arrested for driving at twice the legal limit of alcohol, and even copped to his mistake to the press. The star gets three years of probation and three months of alcohol education classes for his mea culpa.
Terrence Howard, on the other hand, has less to be happy about. The actor, who will next be seen starring opposite Oprah Winfrey in Lee Daniels' The Butler, has been accused by his ex-wife Michelle Ghent of physical abuse. Ghent, who divorced Howard last year but reportedly hooked up with the actor in Costa Rica last week, claims the actor beat her relentlessly during an argument. She is seeking a restraining order against her ex, who she says had been abusive toward her throughout their marriage.
Howard, however, claims he was threatened and framed. He says Ghent is the one who perpetrated the violence by spraying him and his adult daughter with mace. Supposedly, Howard has texts, which confirm his ex-wife's mental and dangerous state. Police were called to the scene in Costa Rica and reports were taken, according to TMZ. Michelle Ghent will be in court today.
