Cheers To Black Excellence! Pyer Moss And Hennessy Collaborate To Celebrate World Renowned Cyclist Marshall Taylor
Pyer Moss is bringing back their motocross vibes with a new capsule collection. To celebrate the successful career of Marshall “Major” Taylor, the first Black American to win a world championship in 1899, Hennessy has teamed up with the National Brotherhood of Cyclists and Moss to create the collection titled “MMT 140.”
This past April, everyone’s favorite cognac released a video series in celebration of their new collaboration with the cycling club detailing Taylor’s life. Continuing the collaboration, Hennessy has partnered with brands that have been moved by the pioneer’s story.
The MMT 140 collection by Pyer Moss features a cycling cap (that is sold out already), graphic tee, bomber, sweatshirt and joggers. The theme of the collection focuses on many motocross trends that were relevant 140 years ago, like nylon textures and vintage cycling caps. A portion of the proceeds will go to the National Brotherhood Cyclist, which will be rewarding one lucky cyclist to receive a $25,000 scholarship on November 26.

Coming up, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss is currently in the running for the Vogue Fashion Fund, where the winner will be announced November 5. We are wishing the brand the best of luck!
