Yandy and Mendeecees Share Some Huge News

Things are changing for the "Love & Hip Hop" couple.

Yandy Smith and her encarcerated "husband," Mendeecees Harris, have been one of the focal points in the current season of Love & Hip Hop: New York, especially after the reality star admitted that they weren't legally married, and was proud of that.

Now, according to reports, they've decided that "spiritual marriage" isn't enough anymore and are going forward with the process of legalizing their marriage.

According to Bossip, Yandy revealed they had a change of heart and decided to file the paperwork.

"We have definitely decided to go ahead and do the paperwork and all that stuff, not that I was so concerned or cared about that stuff, but it meant a lot to him," she said. "So it was only right... With him being away, we have to re-register, get things notarized and all that stuff."

She also mentioned that, though Mendeecees is currently behind bars serving an extensive sentence, she believes his bid for a shorter sentence will come to fruition pretty soon.

"You will absolutely see Mendeecees sooner than you think," she said. "They put in a motion, so we'll see what happens."

Throughout this season of LHHNY, Yandy has played up the wife-card a lot and sparked several opinions from the show's viewers. Take a look at some of their comments below:
