Baby Luna Makes Her Music Video Debut In John Legend's 'Love Me Now'
Last month, John Legend debuted his highly-anticipated new single "Love Me Now."
The track marked an emotional return to the studio for the multi-talented R&B singer, who also shared that the director behind his new music video for the single, Nabil Elderkin, was the one who introduced Legend to his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
Today (November 11), Legend has shared the visuals, which adorably also double as his six-month-old daughter Luna's music video debut.
The track is about holding loved ones close, which is a simply beautiful sentiment many need to be reminded of — particularly this week, when the future feels especially uncertain.
“This video shows how love can be shared in some of the most difficult situations on Earth in which the human spirit and connection with each other prevails,” Elderkin said in a statement. “From one of the longest standing refugee camps in northern Iraq just 45 miles outside of Mosul, to Standing Rock Reservation where they are fighting against the Dakota Access Pipeline that threatens their sacred lands and all of our water, it is a glimpse into these couples’ lives and the lives of those in their communities.”
Take a look at the powerful visuals, and keep an eye out for Baby Luna's cameo, in the clip below.
