Lizzo Invited To Play President James Madison's Crystal Flute At His Estate
Lizzo’s star continues to shine. The pop star and famed flutist was recently invited to play President James Madison’s 200-year-old crystal flute, which she played at the Library of Congress last month, at his historic Montpelier estate in Virginia.
On September 28, the Madison estate extended an invitation via Twitter to Lizzo to play the flute again– but this time at the 2650-acre home he lived in when he was alive.
“Lizzo, you've played #JamesMadison's flute, now come visit his house! @lizzo”
TMZ also reported that the 34-year-old songstress was invited to take a private tour of Montpelier. A spokesperson for the estate also disclosed that it would gain permission to have Lizzo possibly play the crystal flute at the home. The estate also serves as a national museum and constitutional information center.
