Tory Lanez Earns Diploma And Enrolls In College From Prison
Tory Lanez revealed that he’s graduated high school and is currently enrolled in college for this fall. The singer is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence following the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
On Sunday night (Aug. 4th), Tory got on a phone call with Kick streamer Adin Ross
to update fans on his life. “A ni**a just graduated high school, enrolled in college. Never thought I’d do that. But I’m taking this moment and I’m taking advantage over everything that’s good,” told Ross.
The Ontario native continued, “I’m a f**king high school drop out that just graduated high school. That s**t matters to me. So, it’s the small things that just have me feeling good about life right now.”
When asked how he’s been holding up, he said, “I’m great. I know that a lot of people sometimes when they hear prison or they hear somebody’s down, they think ni**as in the corner somewhere bawling his eyes out.”
Last week, the 32-year-old released his first project from behind bars, Prison Tapes. “It’s over. I done cracked the f**king code, man,” he said in an Instagram post. “This means that not even these prison walls can stop me from dropping new music. It’s crazy!”
