‘Snowfall’ Season 5 Makes Its Debut February 2022
Snowfall fans are rejoicing. Season Five of FX’s hit crime drama has an official premiere date.
The John Singleton co-created series, starring Damson Idris, Carter Hudson, Isaiah John, Angela Lewis will return to television screens on Wednesday, Feb 23, 2022, according to Deadline.
The forthcoming season description reads, “The streets of South Central Los Angeles never have been so dangerous as the Saint family navigates the police, the warring gangs, and the CIA. Amidst all of this, the biggest threat the family faces is one another as they try not to let greed, resentment, and ego tear them all apart.”
The series takes place during the summer of 1986 and follows Franklin Saint, played by Idris, and family who have never been better and are wealthy as ever, but just as they’re about to achieve their wildest dreams, their foundation begins to shatter as they try not to let the evils of the game tear them all apart.
The season is returning from a very successful fourth season, becoming the network’s most watched series of 2021.
The trailer for season five has yet to be released.
The show’s lead actor made headlines recently after veteran actor Denzel Washington innocently admitted he was unaware of the star or his hit show during a red carpet interview. Fans on social media thought Washington referred to the English actor as Dancing Address, and Idris has vowed to only answer to the new moniker.
