Here's Why People Are Calling Out Omarosa For Saying Leaving The White House Was Like Being 'Freed Off Of A Plantation'
Before her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house came to an end, Omarosa Manigault once again offered the other contestants — along with the millions of Americans watching — a taste of what may be included in her tell-all book (if she decides to publish).
In the most recent episode, Omarosa likened her exit from the White House to leaving the bounds of slavery.
“Ooh, freedom, I’ve been emancipated,” she said. “I feel like I just got freed off of a plantation.”
Additionally, she said she may write a “tell-all” book, but fears Trump may come after her legally.
“[Trump is] going to come after me with everything he has. Like, I’m going up against a kazillionaire,” she said. “So I’ll probably end up in court for the next … but I have to tell my truth. I’m tired of being muted. All the stuff that I just put on a shelf somewhere out of loyalty. I’ve been defending somebody for so long, and I’m now I’m like, ‘Yo, you are a special kind of fucked up, and that special breed, they’re about to learn all about it.’ ” She added: “I haven’t even told people some of the horrors I experienced.”
In the clip, Omarosa also said she no longer has any loyalty to the White House
After Omarosa compared the White House to a plantation, people on Twitter let out a collective "excuse me?"
Not to mention, Omarosa was paid nearly $180,000 for her White House gig

Needless to say, Omarosa's plantation comment was determined to be more problematic than informative
