Tracee Ellis Ross is pretty amazing. This week, the Black-ish actress wanted to demonstrate the importance of loving your body and having fun showing it off. What better way than to recreate her mom’s “Work That Body” video?

Tracee Ellis, who is the daughter of Diana Ross, honored her mom by putting on a retro workout outfit and working her body while sending a positive message for women to feel empowered. She pays homage by mirroring her mother’s visual and then shares a heartfelt message dedicated to her.

“I recreated my Mom’s 'Work That Body' video from 1981 as a fun experiment and a surprise for my mama! An ODE to her! While she has so, so many incredible moments to choose from, this one had an impact on me," she wrote on her YouTube page.
