Aaron Hernandez's Lawyer Set To Release Tell-All Book About The Late NFL Player And Says It Will Include 'Shocking Revelations'

"Unnecessary Roughness: The Life and Death of Aaron Hernandez" is set for an August 21 release.

Aaron Hernandez taking his own life via a prison suicide last April didn't stop the onslaught of coverage about the late former NFL star that continued months after his death.

Well, earlier this week, The Associated Press reported that Hernandez's attorney, Jose Baez, is set to release a tell-all book about his notorious client and that he vows that it will include "shocking revelations," Hachette Books confirmed with The Associated Press.

Baez's Unnecessary Roughness: The Life and Death of Aaron Hernandez is slated for an August 21 release. And in case you were wondering, Baez wrote the book with the cooperation of Hernandez's fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, and she even penned the foreword for the tell-all, according to The AP. Hachette also vows that the book will tell the "definitive, insider" story about Hernandez.

The timing of Hernandez's suicide seemed odd, considering he was just found not guilty in his double-murder trial a week before. However, that acquittal was separate from the life in prison without the possibility of parole that Hernandez was already serving after being found guilty two years ago for the 2013 first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd, a former semi-pro football player.
