Bolo the Entertainer: Unveiling the Mystique of Michael Bolowaire, 'Doc' on 'All the Queen's Men'
Michael Bolowaire’s character, ‘Doc’ on “All the Queen's Men,” is Marilyn 'Madam' DeVille's most trusted senior dancer and occasional enforcer when Madam needs to put an enemy out of commission. If you're unfamiliar with the career exotic dancer (and how could you not be?), we've compiled five facts about "Bolo."
The Entertainer
Michael's stage name is "Bolo the Entertainer." He says "BOLO" means "Be on the lookout."
Black Magic
Bolo was a member of the "Elite 8" on Vivica A. Fox's 2017 Lifetime series 'Vivica's Black Magic'. Envisioned by Fox as "The first all star urban exotic male review," it was intended to be the urban answer to the famed Chippendales. This would be the first time he appeared in a project with Skyh Black, who stars in 'Queen's Men' as Madam's troubled nephew "Amp."
In the show, Bolo revealed a playfully arrogant personality. He also had a brief flirtation with Kiana, Fox's talent coordinator. Due to his previous work with Fox, he didn't even have to audition.
The Chocolate City series
Before 'Black Magic', Bolo starred alongside Fox in 2015's 'Chocolate City', director Jean-Claude La Marre's response to 'Magic Mike'. There are a total of three 'Chocolate City' films and in each one, Bolo goes by "Bolo." There's no need to rename greatness.

"What Happened in the Dungeon?"
During the 2020 Covid-19 quarantine, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Cynthia Bailey was determined to keep her wedding date. In an infamous episode, the cast took a trip to Charleston, SC where Kandi Burress surprised Bailey with a dungeon-themed bachelorette party. Bolo waited, Chanel-down, in a glass cage. After entertaining the ladies, production was sent home and the cameras went down. Bolo left the house at 7:06 am the next day.
He's taken
In the fall of 2022, Bolo announced a "new chapter" on his Instagram page with a wedding ring shot. While Michael Bolowaire is an honest man, "Doc" remains a bachelor.
