It’s not often that we see Whoopi Goldberg in a gown. In fact, when was the last time you saw sis in a dress, period? We’ll wait.

So when the actress showed up on the Oscars 2018 red carpet last night rocking not a dress, but a gown, we were instantly SHOOK! Parting ways with her practical uniform of a white oversize button-down paired with pants, Whoopi rocked a belted ball gown courtesy of Christian Siriano. Giving her look that “Whoopi edge,” she paired with black sunglasses and combat boots, yes combats.

But wayment, we’re not done yet!  Not only did the actress rock a dress, but she wore an off-the-shoulder silhouette, baring a tatted right shoulder. Chileee, we haven’t seen Whoopi’s shoulders in years, since 2016 Oscars to be exact.

But as we always say - we love a woman that can do both!
