Eminem and Audi have finally reached a settlement in a case surrounding the car manufacturer's commercial that used the rapper's single "Lose Yourself" without permission.
As previously reported, "Lose Yourself," Eminem's Oscar-winning song from the 8 Mile soundtrack, appears in the Audi commercial, which has only aired in Europe. Eight Mile Style, LLC, Eminem's company that pursues his copyright interests, says Audi didn't have the rights to use the song, and that the spot crosses the line between homage and ripoff.
Eight Mile Style filed the lawsuit against Audi in a German court this past June, reports AllHipHop.com.
Details of the settlement haven't been disclosed to the public.
