Leave it to Ndamukong Suh to tell it like it is and be blunt at times.

After signing a six-year, $114 million free-agent deal with the Miami Dolphins this past offseason and enduring an underachieving 4-7 record with the team this season, Suh reportedly let his teammates know that they're not good enough to hang with him.

"I'm told he told them: 'I run this defense, I'm going to be here for the next five years, there is no guarantee any of you will be as well. Only a handful of guys are good enough to play with me right now,'" he said, as reported by NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. "He also said the schemes were not good enough, the techniques were not enough and everyone needed to be better, he said 'follow me.'"

Sheesh. So, how did his teammates respond?

"My understanding is the room was split, some saw this as the kind of address a leader would give," Rapoport said. "Others, just something they've never heard before."

Sounds about right.

Giving Suh the benefit of the doubt, he is a four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle at 28 years old, known for packing a punch as a defensive lineman with a mean streak. But that mean streak has come with its fair share of controversy as well, whether it's throwing a low block, questionably tackling an opponent or once even stepping on the calf of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Still, it remains to be seen how the Dolphins handle Suh. Will they build around him or has he already rubbed the organization the wrong way in his first year in Miami?
