Young Thug Denied Bond Again And Told Not To Speak To Gunna During Pre-Trial Hearing
In a video obtained by 11Alive, Young Thug and Gunna were ordered to stop communicating with each other in court.
The conversation started during a break for the pre-trial hearing via satellite. You can hear the two rappers catching up with each other until a woman in the courtroom interrupts them, sharing they are being recorded and they need to pretend they do not see each other while present during the hearing.
"Hey, you guys. Everything you all are saying is being recorded," she said.
"Don't laugh. Don't talk to each other. Pretend you are not here. Don't say anything."
Towards the end of the footage, Judge Ural D. Glanville denies Thugger bond once again.
Thug’s attorney, Brian Steele, shared a statement with TMZ after learning the verdict.
"We are totally focused on preparation for our upcoming trial and we remain steadfast in our efforts to defend Mr. Williams against these false allegations,” he shared.
BET.com previously reported Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis claiming a witness and their children have been threatened, accusing gang sympathizers of threatening a witness.
Thug’s attorney responded to these claims, sharing “whomever is placing items of discovery online is not doing anybody a favor,” he began.
“It is totally inappropriate to try this case in social media. This case will be tried fairly and justly in Fulton County Superior Court.”
