Remember the infamous meme that rapidly went viral almost immediately upon its posting? Well, the woman behind the hilarious social media moment is speaking with us about the pic that broke the internet.

Elisa, who became virally famous for the squat-and-squint meme, spoke with us from Atlanta about her rise to cyber fame.

She explained that the picture was born when she was getting ready for her friend's baby shower, and, while taking photos with her girls, who are all a part of "The Squat Squad," the now signature stance was born.
