And the student allegedly tweeted a defense.
A cheerleader for the University of Kansas and three members of the school’s spirit squad were suspended from cheering after a pro-Trump snapchat photo promoting the Ku Klux Klan was posted shared by the cheerleader, reported CBS News.
The photo was posted to sophomore Lili Gagin's Snapchat account.
The University of Kansas Athletics department issued a statement confirming Gagin's and the unidentified boys' suspension.
Although the university suspended the students, many are calling for a harsher punishment.

However, in a private tweet, Gagin alleged that someone else posted the photo.
“I’m appalled that a snapchat was put out on my snapchat and posted to my account,” Gagin reportedly tweeted. “I would never [have] done that & I apologize that it happened.”
