Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj Call Truce to American Idol Feud
Yesterday, Mariah Carey shot down rumors that there was drama between her and Nicki Minaj. The two American Idol judges have been making media headlines since they were both confirmed to do the show, and reportedly got into a spat at the first day of taping. Mariah, however, claims that it's too early for a feud, and told reporters it hasn't gone down yet.
"How can we feud in two days? I think a feud takes a little longer," said Carey to reporters at an Idol press conference. All of the judges, including Randy Jackson and Keith Urban, laughed after her statement, and seemed to be in a cheery mood. Nicki also added that the experience has been "wonderful." However, some feel it's all a fake show.
According to TMZ, Mariah and Nicki made a truce and agreed that a feud wouldn't be good for the show. The music stars definitely didn't appear to have a problem and have worked together in the past on Mariah's "Up Out My Face (Remix)." Only time will tell if the peace will last.
