Lark Voorhies Tells Cosby Supporters to Stop Crying Racism

Says defending the TV icon is "unacceptable."

Lark Voorhies — or whomever has been hacking into her social media accounts — took to Instagram once again to share what's on her mind. This time, it was Bill Cosby. After the TV icon was arraigned last week on three counts of aggravated indecent assault, Black Twitter has been divided between those who think Cosby is a monster, and those who feel he's a victim of institutionalized racism.

Well, Voorhies is clear on which side she stands. The Saved By the Bell star slammed Cosby in a series of Instagram posts that coupled her thoughts with pictures of the sitcom star. “The man you admired, Dr. Huxtable, was a scripted, imaginary character," she began. "Remember, Bill Cosby is not actually Dr. Huxtable.”

5 LEGAL THINGS YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE BILL COSBY CASE

From there, Voorhies went after the members of the Black community who feel Cosby has been unfairly persecuted — and prosecuted. “And for us African Americans to blame race is unimaginary and unacceptable. IT IS NO LONGER 2015,” she says. “This monster admitted in a sworn deposition to drugging multiple woman with Quaaludes and alcohol with the intentions of raping these innocent woman. People are blaming NBC, race, & politics. We need to start blaming Bill Cosby himself for his reprehensible and disgusting actions. Anyone who defends this man is defending the devil himself!”

Of course, there's only a fifty-fifty chance that the post was actually written by Voorhies. A number of similarly passionate posts to her account were discredited as the work of a hacker, or maybe her estranged ex-husband. Voorhies herself has reportedly been suffering from bipolar disorder in recent years, and was often caught unable to articulate herself very well. If this rant truly was written by her, though, it sounds like she's doing better than ever.
