DMX's Undisputed Set for June 26
DMX's official return to hip hop now has a date: June 26. That's when the longtime Ruff Ryder member will release his highly anticipated seventh LP, Undisputed, according to his manager, Jeff Fowler.
"Finishing up the final changes and all on @DMX album ... June 26 !!!!! Let's go !!!!" Fowler wrote on Twitter this afternoon.
Undisputed will be X's first album in six years, and is said to feature appearances by Busta Rhymes, Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson. The release of the LP marks a long journey back to rap game for the mercurial MC, who has been in and out of prison since his last album, Year of the Dog…Again.
The rapper recently made headlines for his unfiltered comments about Drake and Rick Ross. He is slated to appear on the upcoming VH1 reality show "Couples Therapy" with his ex-wife, Tashera.
