Swizz Beatz Launches Art Basel Miami Event to Help Artists
Swizz Beatz has a mission to help the struggling artist.
The hip hop star has announced he will launch a three-day art and concert series at Art Basel Miami Beach. Beatz has joined Bacardi and The Dean Collection to throw the No Commission Art Fair and the Bacardi Untameable House Party next week.
The No Commission Art Fair will allow artists to showcase their work and keep all of the profit, as opposed to splitting it between artist and galleries. Beatz posted on his Instagram, “This fair is only about celebrating the artist,” along with a list of all the featured talent who will support the event by performing at the end of each day. The headliners include Swizz’s wife Alicia Keys, Pusha T and DMX.
The three-day art and concert series will take place December 3-5. The fair is free and open to the public, though the concert series will require an RSVP.
