Premiere: K Camp Enjoys a Change of Scenery In His ‘Lyric Ave’ Video
The title track to K Camp’s latest EP Lyric Ave has visuals to match the Los Angeles street that inspired the project.
Directed by Amber Park, the three-minute video finds the Atlanta artist taking in the change of scenery that he always dreamed of.
“I have always dreamed about being able to come to L.A. and bring my whole team with me, so when I felt like it was time to change locations and catch some new vibes, that's what I did," K Camp said upon the project's release. "I recorded the whole EP in my house on Lyric Ave. This is the evolution of me, my career, and my music. We’ve been having the craziest parties on Lyric, and this is where I'm vibin' right now so I wanted my fans to see it, hear it and feel it.”
“Lyric Ave” is produced by Bobby Kritical and is the opener of the six-track project. Lyric Ave also features Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi, as well as production from Zaytoven. The rapper insisted on the title track as the opening of the EP, to mark the “wave” listeners will ride throughout.
"’Lyric Ave’ is the first song on the EP because it sets the tone for the project. Lyric Ave is a wave that can't be duplicated,” he said.
