Thomas Q. Jones Blasts NFL Players For Fireworks Accidents

Retired star says athletes should have known better.

The significant Fourth of July fireworks injuries suffered by New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback C.J. Wilson have dominated NFL headlines all week long.

On Wednesday it was reported that Pierre-Paul had to have his right index finger amputated and that Wilson lost two fingers, each as a result of pyro mishap.

Well, despite their injuries and the status of their careers being in question, one former NFL star doesn't feel sorry for them.

Ex-NFL running back Thomas Jones who you may know and love as "Cutty Buddy" from Being Mary Jane, took to his Twitter account Thursday to rip into Pierre-Paul and Wilson for their lack of judgment in using fireworks. He first referred to Pierre-Paul as a "moron," before really letting loose on the Giants defensive end and Wilson with a couple of stinging tweets.

What are your thoughts on fireworks fall out? Do you side with Jones and criticize them for their lack of judgment or do you feel bad about their current circumstances?
