The devastating death of Nipsey Hussle, who was tragically pronounced dead on Sunday afternoon following a fatal shooting outside his Los Angeles retail store, has shocked the hip hop community to its core.

The rapper, entrepreneur and father of two, born Ermias Asghedom, was pronounced dead just after 5pm PST. At least two others were reportedly shot in the incident, though their condition is unknown. Video posted on social media showed paramedics attempting to revive Nipsey and he was later taken to a nearby hospital, according to law enforcement officials close to TMZ. The celebrity news outlet reports that one man fled in a vehicle after the shooting.
