Two of our favorite stars are making big moves with new projects. Romany Malco, fresh off of the success of Think Like a Man Too, has signed on for a starring role in Amazon Studios' thriller Mad Dogs. The actor will join Ben Chaplin and Steve Zahn in the streaming series, which follows four friends who take a trip to Belize to visit a school pal, though as time passes, their holiday soon turns into a nightmare of lies, deception and murder.
Though he's been making waves on the big screen lately, Malco is no stranger to serialized drama. He had a leading role on the Showtime hit Weeds and has also appeared on The Good Wife.
Meanwhile, Chadwick Boseman is shaping up to be no ordinary leading man. The Get On Up star recently sold a movie pitch to Universal for a thriller that he will write and star in. Not much is known about the project except that it's an action thriller "in the vein of The Fugitive." It will be interesting to see if Boseman pulls a Ben Affleck and also decides to direct the project, which wouldn't be a huge surprise considering he's already been behind the camera for two short films.
