Since the reports of the alleged sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman by Nelly have surfaced, some of his industrymates have a lot to say in defense of the St. Louis rap veteran.

His former girlfriend, R&B songstress Ashanti, on the other hand, doesn’t share the same choice of words — if she has any at all.

TMZ spotted Ashanti at LAX and took the opportunity to ask her opinion about the deplorable accusations. With a smile, the “Happy” singer shifted the conversation to some promo for her new single, which happens to have a title that fits as a perfect reply: “Say Less.”

She continued explaining that she’d just added finishing touches to the track, hence all the time she had spent in Miami. When the reporter asked whether or not the title was, perhaps, a subliminal message to his question, she kept it short and sweet.

“That’s the name of the single,” she assured him.

Despite his efforts to pull commentary from her on the Nellyville rap star, the brief conversation ended with nothing more than some new updates on her own industry moves.  

Way to keep things relevant, Ashanti.
