Lisa Bonet Recalls Being Around Bill Cosby's 'Sinister, Shadow Energy' In New Interview
Lisa Bonet has remained relatively mum regarding the legal battle surrounding her former boss and co-star Bill Cosby and the sexual assault allegations made against him.
Most recently, however, she spoke a bit about the fallen comedian in an interview, touching specifically on the energy she remembers she felt while being around him.
"There was no knowledge on my part about his specific actions," she told Porter Edit in her cover interview. "But... there was just energy. And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed."
The actress, who played Cosby's daughter Denise in The Cosby Show, went on to add that she "always" sensed a "darkness" in Cosby. However, she maintained that she had no knowledge of his alleged sexual assault mischief.
"If I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago," she said. "That's my nature. The truth will set you free."
Though some may say the iconic show's legacy is tainted by Cosby's actions, Bonet only attaches positive memories to her time on the series.
"It's exactly as I remember it," she said.
