Cardi B Had The Best Response After #CardiBIsOver Trended On Twitter

The Bronx rap star had a message for haters.

Cardi B remains unbothered amid yet another attempt to cancel her online.

  • “The fact that I haven’t dropped music in 8 months, I haven’t announced none of the projects I been workin on. All I been doing is eating food [and] people have to make fake edits to cancel me. It makes me feel like IM THAT BITCH!” Cardi issued in response to a fan’s tweet speaking up on  her behalf in reaction to #CardiBIsOverParty trending on Twitter.

  • Yesterday (June 25), the hashtag was trending on Twitter over claims that the Bronx rap star was dissing other artists on a fake Instagram account. After noticing what was going, the 27-year-old took to the social platform and posted a video to address the baseless claims.

“I woke up and I'm seeing that they're trying to make ‘Cardi B Is Cancelled Party.’ I'm like what the f**k. I'm not doing anything,” she told her 12 million followers. "So now I see these people I guess are editing or they're claiming I have a fake Instagram. I don't know, these people must think that I'm a 15-year-old girl.”

She continued, saying that people were claiming Lil Kim, her hairstylist, and sister, Hennessy Carolina, were allegedly among those following the page. However, Cardi said that the screenshots being shared were photoshopped or edited to cast her in a negative light. She also cleared up speculation that there’s tension between her and other female artists, namely Lil Kim, Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat.

“I like [Ariana’s] music. I’ve never had a problem with her. Why would I even talk about her?” Cardi pointed out in the video. “I've spoken to Doja Cat before and my hairstylist do her hair. And Meg's team, I know a lot of people that work in Meg's team and they get along really good with my team. If I had issues with anybody, my team wouldn't even talk to nobody that I have issues with. I don't even have issues with any of these girls...Don't make lies about me. It's tiring. It's annoying.”

  • Ironically, the attempted cancellation had the opposite effect. Legions of her loyal fanbase, called the Bardi Gang, joined forces all across the globe and #CardiBIsComing and #WeLoveYouCardi soon began to spread around Twitter after her video response.

  • The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker returned to express her gratitude at the show of love.

“I'm seeing so much love from, not only my fans, but just random people that are not fan account pages, are just having my back and realizing how f**ked people could do certain s**t. It's crazy how that s**t backfired on the devil," she said in a separate post. "I'm so thankful, I'm so grateful for you guys. Thank you for making those other hashtags trend.”

  • Since then, Cardi and her fans are rallying together and just celebrating one another all over Twitter. Check out some of the interactions below
