New details have emerged in the 1997 murder of the Notorious B.I.G. after a currently incarcerated informant alleged that he was an accessory to the crime, supporting previous allegations about the involvement of members of the Nation of Islam.

Clayton Hill, a former Nation member currently serving time in federal prison for charges of conspiracy and identity theft, told HipHopDX that he accepted B.I.G.'s alleged murder weapon 14 years ago from a man calling himself Dawoud Muhammad.
“[Dawoud Muhammad] stated to me that he was on the run for the murder [of The Notorious B.I.G.],” Hill wrote. According to Hill, Muhammad was involved with the Nation of Islam and was a former member of the Blood gang. Hill says the shooter bragged about the murder, which he claimed was a paid hit. Hill also said Muhammad claimed to have been paid $25,000 for the killing.
Hill says that after receiving the weapon, a semiautomatic handgun, in his native Atlanta, he went on to transport it to Louisville, Kentucky, under orders of the Nation. In Louisville, it was transferred to Emile Muhammad, the personal driver of Minister Louis Farrakhan, who then delivered the gun to the Nation of Islam headquarters in Chicago.
Hill is currently promoting an upcoming tell-all called Diary of an Ex-Terrorist.

Previously, another incarcerated man, Dexter Isaac, claimed to have shot Tupac in 1994 on a $2,500 hit ordered by Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, who was recently arrested on drug charges.
The FBI is still searching for leads on the B.I.G. murder, more than a decade later.
