Amina Buddafly to Headline Music Matters NYC Showcase
Winter continues to bring frigid temperatures, but BET Music Matters is turning up the heat in New York City with Love & Hip Hop star, Amina Buddafly. The German-bred songstress will be headlining this month's showcase at SOB's, Feb. 11.
The "Don't Wanna Be Right" singer will perform songs from her latest EP, I Am Part 2, which was released back in December. After completing her inaugural season of the hit reality TV show, Amina is turning the focus to her music. This performance promises to be a drama-free display of her talent.
Also taking the stage will be Brooklyn's own, Sonnie Carson, who's new single "Come On" (featuring Vado) continues to gain momentum at radio. Carson has already held his own with some of the greats including Jadakiss, Jim Jones and Killer Mike, and the fiery MC continues to show and prove.
Fans will also be treated to the inspiring sounds of 24-year-old gospel sensation Jonathan McReynolds, as well as Hayley Small and Roman Gianarthur.
Kicking things off, as always, will be DJ Lyve and the one-and-only Buttahman. The show, starts at 8 p.m. and space is limited, so plan on arriving early, and be sure to use the hashtag #mmshowcase to share the experinece with anyone who can't make it.
