112 is an R&B group from Atlanta. The group is comprised of Marvin "Slim" Scandrick, Quinnes "Q" Parker, Daron Jones and Michael Keith. The quartet met during their high school years in the 1990s and was previously referred to as Forte. During their days as the group Forte, the men performed at local churches and talent shows. The group now goes by 112 and has many hits under their belt. They're still making music and continue to be one of the best boy bands of all time.

After countless performances at talent shows and churches, the group was discovered by Courtney Sills and Kevin Wales. The management duo assisted in the group's career by placing them in front of producers Tim Kelley and Bob Robinson. Wales also helped the group secure an audition at Atlanta's Club 112 in front of Sean "Puffy" Combs and other Bad Boy Records executives. Diddy signed the group and their name changed to 112 in honor of the club they auditioned at. After that the quartet moved to New York and started recording their self-titled debut album, 112.

  3. Debut Single

Their debut single, "Only You," off of their 112 album hit No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their second single, "Cupid," also peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group hit the ground running, and boy were they on fire!

As stated earlier, the group was signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records. In the '90s Bad Boy Records boasted an impressive all-star lineup, which included 112, Total, Biggie, Lil Kim, Ma$e and more! Being associated with Bad Boy Records, especially in the '90s, makes that the coolest connection. The group did leave the record label in 2002 to move to Def Jam for a while. Needless to say, in our eyes, they were still a part of the epic Bad Boy Records lineup.

  6. Best Collaboration

"Anywhere" by 112, featuring Lil Zane, goes down in history as one of their best collabs!

  7. Exclusive Info

If you wanted more 112 music, you're going to get it! The group will be dropping their sixth studio album, Q MIKE SLIM DARON, on October 27. Catch their debut single from the album Dangerous Games, above!
