UPDATE APRIL 11:
After a Florida woman was roasted for telling police officers the cocaine found in her bag was blown in there by the wind, people are switching sides and hilariously rushing to her defense.
When Kennecia Posey's story first went viral, many people made fun of her excuse. However, people are now realizing that sometimes you have to hear the whole story before making any judgments.
PREVIOUS APRIL 9:
A Florida woman tried her best to stay out of jail when an officer found cocaine in her purse by blaming the wind.
Kennecia Posey, 26, was a passenger in a car that was stopped by Fort Pierce police March 21, reported WPLG.
The car was seen swerving on the road before police intervened. According to the police report, an officer approached smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside of the car. As a result, the officer conducted a search and found two bags — one containing cocaine and the other containing marijuana — in a purse that Posey had on her lap.
When questioned about the drugs, Posey said although the marijuana was hers, the cocaine was not.
"I don't know anything about any cocaine," Posey said, according to the report. "It's a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse."
Posey was booked into the county jail on one felony count of cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession. She was later released on bond.
People couldn't help but bust out their funniest jokes upon seeing her story
