Marlon Wayans Hopes Louis C.K. Can 'Find The Funny' In His Harassment Charges
Marlon Wayans apparently believes that a year out of the spotlight has been enough punishment for Louis C.K.
The comedian was accused of and admitted to sexual misconduct with numerous women. Speaking with TMZ, Wayans was asked whether it was too soon for Louis to come back into the stand-up world. His response?
“I think he needs it. Comics need the stage because that’s where we express and take all of our anxieties and life depressions and make people laugh, so I think being away from the craft for a long time, I think he wants to come back and talk about it,” the Naked star and comedian said outside of Madeo on Tuesday night (August 28). “He’s apologetic, sincere, and funny, so I hope he finds the funny in it.”
Ummm...
Wayans also referred to there being such thing as a “comedy jail,” however he never alluded to believing Louis C.K. should actually be in it.
This is really bad, because it wasn’t just a horrible joke or even a one-time occurrence. If Louis C.K. actually did commit acts of sexual misconduct he should be going to real jail.
