After struggling with his health for the past few months, Lamar Odom has a reason to smile. According to TMZ, the former NBA all-star will not be charged for cocaine possession in the Love Ranch near-fatal overdose.

It is being reported that the Nye County District Attorney made the decision not to file any charges against Odom. Several sources said over the course of the incident that it is rare that prosecutors file drug possession charges when the person who consumed the drugs is hospitalized.

Odom overdosed on October 13, 2015, and was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He has been in hospitals ever since and was only released last week and transferred to a rehab facility for "serious medical issues."

The D.A. is reportedly set to formally reject the case later this week.
