John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are easily one of Hollywood's hottest couples. In between their complementing features and social media antics, there's no wonder why the duo have spawned dozens of #RelationshipGoals memes. But that doesn't mean they haven't had their ups and downs. 

In a recent sit-down with The Guardian, the 10-time Grammy winner revealed that he once attempted to break up with his now wife ― and hilariously failed. "I was really stressed and busy," Legend said. "I was just like, 'I'd just be happier single right now,' and she was like, 'No.'"

According to the "All of Me" singer, they were able to reconcile and called off their very brief split. "She pushes me to be funnier," he gushed. "Not because she's trying to, I think it's just being around her. And to be bolder."

True to her nature, Chrissy took to social media to tell her side of events after the interview was published online. "It wasn't a typical breakup," the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model explained. "He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like 'no.'"

John and Chrissy's first sultry encounter took place back in 2007 on the set of his video shoot for "Stereo." The couple have since tied the knot in 2013 in Italy and recently welcomed a daughter, Luna, in April 2016.
