Lenny Kravitz Opens Up About The Possibility Of Having More Kids And Past Relationships
Don't be surprised if Lenny Kravitz has more kids down the road. For him, he's totally down to being a dad again.
In a no-holds-barred interview with Esquire, the legendary rock singer revealed he is open to having more children. For the 59-year-old star, it's an option still on the table.
“I could not, and I could,” he told the outlet.
If that desire never gets fulfilled again, he has solace in his only child, daughter –Zoë Kravitz– whom he shares with ex-wife Lisa Bonet.
“If it doesn’t happen, I’ve done the best with Zoë that I could ever dream to do," he explained.
Whether or not his fatherhood 2.0 dreams become a reality, the "American Woman" hitmaker said he is only open to expanding his family if his partner wanted that.
"If I was with somebody that wanted to have kids, absolutely. A hundred percent.”
During that interview, Lenny also addressed whether another trip down the aisle was possible. In 1993, he and Bonet split after six years of marriage.
"The desire has always been there," he said while acknowledging, "The tools in which to do so have not always been there."
Now, Lenny says he is ready for love in all its facets.
"I've grown enough. I've become stronger. I've become more disciplined. I've become more open to be able to do so. But it's been a very difficult thing for me to figure out."
As he reflected on his past relationships, the “Fly Away” performer admitted, “I put some people through some hard times.”
He continued, "It was hardcore," adding, "Those moments were part of the journey."
